This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It includes a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge. The pump utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The design incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal is rated for 250°F. The pump uses a dry shaft design to eliminate contact between the fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM using a 10 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 213T frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and OSHA, utilizing a Woods coupler and greasable bearings. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 with a PEI of 0.88. Operation is across the line, and the unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures.
