This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. Mechanical sealing is managed by a ceramic seat and EPT components. Designed for a maximum pressure of 125 PSI, the unit utilizes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
A 10 HP premium efficiency ODP motor operates at 1750 RPM, integrates Aegis grounding, and receives power via a 200-230V 3PH supply, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.44. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
