This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter and is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design includes a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and a rear pullout configuration for service without disturbing system piping. It uses a mechanical seal consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump is designed for clean water applications and includes flush seal line taps and a top center line discharge.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 284 JM frame with feet. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures. It features a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
