This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction port and a 5" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation up to 250°F. The unit is constructed with pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The assembly is powered by a 40 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 324 T frame. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor features greasable bearings and is configured for across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler for connection. This equipment is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.94 and complies with NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards at a 50°C ambient temperature.
