This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction port and 8" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 75 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 365 T-frame. It functions on 230-460/60/3 PH power using an across-the-line starting configuration. This unit includes greasable bearings and a premium efficiency motor that complies with MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the standard Woods flexible coupler. This pump configuration carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.94 and is designed for a 40°C ambient environment.
