This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing for positive air venting, integrally cast with mounting feet. The assembly incorporates a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft, shielded by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve that maintains a dry shaft design to isolate circulating fluid from the shaft. Mechanical seal integrity is maintained through an EPT rubber and ceramic seal arrangement. Pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections, along with a drain port, are integrated into the casing to facilitate system monitoring. This pump assembly uses a centerline discharge configuration to ensure efficient venting during operation.
The 75 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 3450 RPM and incorporates Aegis grounding, power supply requirements of 380-460V / 3PH, and a DOE PEI rating of 0.47. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
