This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft configuration. The mechanical seal is composed of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, with a temperature rating of 225°F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 256T frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly features a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, a coupler guard, and greasable bearings. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. This unit operates in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
