This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller paired with a bronze wear ring. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it carries a temperature rating of 250 °F. The assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and features sealed-for-life ball bearings.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 40 HP Baldor ODP motor. The motor is configured with a 324 T-frame and requires a 230-460V/60/3 PH power supply. The pump is secured to a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
