This base-mounted end suction pump consists of a cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a ceramic and EPT mechanical seal. Engineered for fluid circulation, this pump maintains a pressure capacity of 125 PSI. The bearing housing incorporates permanently lubricated sealed-for-life ball bearings and provides support at the driver end. A flexible coupler links the pump to the motor, ensuring alignment within the structural steel base.
This unit employs a 2 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis Grounding, powered by 380-460V / 3PH electricity, and provides a DOE PEI of 0.44. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
