This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 8" suction and 6" discharge connections. It uses an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump includes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The assembly is designed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and does not include a wear ring. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 326T frame. It uses 230-460V, 3PH power and across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This model maintains a PEI of 0.93 and operates in 40 °C ambient conditions with CCW rotation.
