This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It includes ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. The design incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration to isolate the pump shaft from system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. The motor is configured with a 215 JM frame with feet and a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The electrical system supports across the line starting and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
