This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pumped fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies the piping layout.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is built on a 286 JM frame with feet, follows NEMA standards, and is rated for 40°C ambient conditions. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This unit features a DOE PEI of 0.9 and is set for counter-clockwise rotation.
