This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance and isolate the shaft from circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 215 T-frame and operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. It features greasable bearings, AEGIS shaft grounding, and premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.88 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
