This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. The assembly includes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and piping layouts.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM with a 3 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure, configured with a 182 JM frame with feet. It uses 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power and features across-the-line starting. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55, with a DOE PEI of 0.93.
