This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a 125 PSI pressure rating and a bronze impeller. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction, pairing a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft. A ceramic mechanical seal with EPT rubber provides fluid containment within the pump assembly. This unit integrates suction and discharge pressure tappings for system monitoring and a replaceable wear ring to facilitate maintenance.
The pump operates with a 2 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor at 1750 RPM, utilizing Aegis grounding and a 200-230V / 3PH power supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
