This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It is equipped with a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The impeller has a nominal diameter of 9-1/2". The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 100 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 460/60/3 power supply. The motor utilizes a 365TS NEMA frame and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard with a Woods flexible coupler. The bearing frame contains greasable, sealed-for-life bearings. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump assembly maintains a PEI value of 0.94.
