This close-coupled end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft, while the mechanical seal integrates a ceramic seat and EPT rubber. Suction and discharge connections incorporate pressure tappings for system monitoring. With a 125 PSI operating pressure rating, the unit manages fluid transfer applications. The slip-on shaft sleeve facilitates field maintenance of the seal.
This pump assembly utilizes a 50 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, powered by a 380-460V 3PH electrical supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
