This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP, 380/60/3 TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 326 T-frame. This motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The system uses a Woods coupler and features greasable bearings. The unit provides a PEI of 0.92 and supports across-the-line starting. It is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures.
