This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a bearing frame with greasable bearings.
This pump is driven by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a 256 T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features a drip pan and an OSHA for a Woods coupler. This pump has a DOE PEI of 0.93 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
