This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a 7 1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel (NSF61) impeller. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame houses sealed-for-life bearings and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7 1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor features NEMA 213T frame dimensions and meets premium efficiency standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration maintains a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.91 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
