This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and bronze shaft sleeve mounted on a stainless steel shaft. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design rated for a maximum pressure of 125 PSI. A mechanical seal comprising a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components provides fluid containment for the system. The pump housing integrates gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections for pressure monitoring and a drain port at the bottom of the casing to facilitate maintenance.
Driven by a 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, the assembly integrates Aegis grounding and accepts a 380-460V 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
