This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 10" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal design utilizes a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections, and the pump includes flush seal line taps.
The pump is powered by a 1-1/2 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure, configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. It operates at 1150 RPM and utilizes a NEMA 182 T-frame. The motor and pump assembly is connected via a Woods coupler, protected by a standard coupler guard, and mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is configured for across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards according to MG1-12.55.
