This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal is constructed with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F for clean water applications. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor uses a 215 T frame, meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This pump has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
