This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit incorporates a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP, 230/460/60/3PH TEFC motor. The system includes a Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 184 frame that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is EISA compliant and configured for across the line starting. It is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard.
