This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a slip-on shaft sleeve, flush seal line taps, and a dry shaft configuration that prevents system fluid contact with the shaft. It includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump also includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 286 JM frame with feet, 230-460/60/3PH power supply, and premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump uses an across-the-line starting option and features a top center line discharge design. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
