This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze slip-on shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal assembly is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is built with 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge ports.
This unit is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, mounted on a 182JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The configuration uses across the line starting, CCW rotation, and supports a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.83.
