This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal design utilizes a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and features flush seal line taps. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump assembly uses a rear pullout design for servicing and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. It requires 230-460/60/3 PH power and is mounted on a NEMA 256 JM frame with feet. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards as defined by MG1-12.55. This unit features across-the-line starting and holds a PEI of 0.92.
