This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. The pump utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges, along with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate maintenance and monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, a 286 JM frame with feet, and a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets Premium Efficiency standards according to MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump features a rear pullout design with a top center line discharge and utilizes across the line starting. This equipment operates in 40°C ambient temperatures with standard NEMA compliance and counter-clockwise rotation. The unit has a PEI rating of 0.89.
