This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter, a cast iron casing, and a bronze impeller. It is constructed with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. A rear pullout design and top center line discharge facilitate maintenance and piping installation, while flush seal line taps and suction and discharge pressure tappings are integrated into the casing. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 575V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor utilizes a 254 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 with AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump functions at a 40°C ambient temperature with a fluid temperature limit of 250°F. The unit maintains a PEI of 0.92 and operates in a CCW rotation.
