This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and includes a 13-1/2" nominal bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. The sealing system utilizes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings at both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 75 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 365 T-frame. It is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This assembly utilizes a Woods flexible coupler for power transmission and achieves a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
