This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a 256 frame. It is configured for 230/460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting and a 40°C ambient rating. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This unit maintains a DOE PEI of 0.9 and an HI energy rating of 10.
