This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. This unit is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for clean water applications. It is configured without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor. The motor is sized for a 213T frame with a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. This assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupler. The system maintains a PEI value of 0.92 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation.
