This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly utilizes a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design, which prevents the circulating fluid from coming into contact with the shaft.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a 215 T-frame. It utilizes a 230-460/60/3 power supply and an across-the-line starting option. This NEMA premium efficiency motor complies with MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The pump has a PEI value of 0.91 and functions in ambient temperatures up to 40 °C.
