This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump design includes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F in clean water applications. This configuration incorporates a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 200V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor is housed in a NEMA 213 frame and utilizes an across the line starting method. Features include premium efficiency performance meeting MG1-12.55 standards and AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a Woods coupler and coupler guard. This assembly maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.88 and is rated for operation in a 40°C ambient temperature.
