This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2" suction connection, and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The unit utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft construction and a rear pullout configuration for service access without piping disturbance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. It includes flush seal line taps for filter installation, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a top center line discharge design for piping alignment and self-venting.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a drip cover, mounted in a 213 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation. This unit has a PEI of 0.92.
