This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge. The casing is constructed of cast iron with ANSI Class 125 flanges and does not include a wear ring. The pump utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber serves as the sealing mechanism, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The system operates at 1750 RPM using a 5 HP TEFC motor in a NEMA 184 frame. It is configured for 380V/60Hz/3PH power supply and supports across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. The motor is a WEG Premium Efficiency model featuring AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump meets EISA compliance standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.86 and a HI Energy Rating of 14. It operates in 40°C ambient temperatures and utilizes CCW rotation.
