This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor Super E TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 frame. The motor is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply using across the line starting and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The unit is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.94 and an HI Energy Rating of 9.
