This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a nominal diameter of 13-1/2", and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It includes a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump uses a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft, and it includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is a 324 T frame style configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply and across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and has a PEI value of 0.93.
