This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, flush seal line taps, and a rear pullout design to facilitate service without disturbing system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and utilizes an across the line starting option. The motor is built to a JM frame style with feet, NEMA standard specifications, and a 40°C ambient rating. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly maintains a clockwise rotation and features a PEI of 0.86.
