This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for clean water applications up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided at the suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes integrally cast mounting feet.
The unit is powered by a 3 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 182 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and features across-the-line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI of 0.86. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation.
