This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7.25" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is configured for counter-clockwise rotation and does not include a wear ring. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 324 frame. The electrical configuration is 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH. The motor features premium efficiency, AEGIS shaft grounding, and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. It utilizes an across-the-line starting option and connects to the pump via a Woods coupler. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a coupler guard. This unit maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.92 and an HI Energy Rating of 8.
