This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, along with sealed-for-life bearings.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. It operates on a 200V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an Across the Line starting configuration and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. This configuration has a DOE PEI of 0.86.
