This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction port and 8" discharge port with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal assembly contains a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This pump is constructed without a wear ring and includes flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 150 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 445T NEMA frame. The electrical configuration is 460V, 60Hz, 3PH, with across-the-line starting. The motor features an AEGIS SGR, an insulated NDE bearing, and greasable bearings. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI of 0.94. The ambient operating temperature is 40°C and the rotation is counter-clockwise.
