This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid from contacting the shaft. The unit is equipped with a mechanical seal comprising a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Additional physical features include flush seal line taps, a rear pullout design, and a top center line discharge configuration.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with a 215 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. Power requirements are 230-460V/60/3PH with across-the-line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements, with a 40°C ambient temperature rating and counter-clockwise rotation. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
