This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, a cast iron casing, and a cast iron cover. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This pump includes flush seal line taps for filtration and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. Its rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1150 RPM. It is configured with a JM motor frame with feet and uses across the line starting. Electrical power requirements are 230-460V/60/3PH. The motor operates at a 40°C ambient temperature, complies with NEMA standards, and meets premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55. The motor also includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
