This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and cover, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from system fluids. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in reducing piping strain.
The pump is configured with a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 215 JM motor frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and is compatible with 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor features an ODP enclosure and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature environment and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. This pump carries a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
