This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel and a cast iron casing. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame includes greasable ball bearings, and the casing provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 40 HP WEG motor, NEMA 324 frame size, and an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The equipment operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation and has a PEI value of 0.94.
