This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The construction utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 213 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power with an across the line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This unit includes greasable bearings, AEGIS shaft grounding, and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a PEI value of 0.86.
