This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump casing includes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system maintenance without disturbing the piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 75 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 365 TS frame. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3 power with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler enclosed by an OSHA-compliant guard. This assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
