This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with an easy-to-replace, slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from system fluids. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting a maximum temperature rating of 250 °F. The pump construction incorporates flush seal line taps, suction and discharge pressure tappings, and a rear pullout design that allows for servicing without disturbing the connected system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and uses an across the line starting method. The motor is built on a 254 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This assembly meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
